Service Saturday 2017

Service Saturday 2017 is in the books and it was a wonderful day of serving in various ways all around our community. The images above only represent one service project at the moment. More will be added as they are received. The day consisted of a large variety of services provided by a wide variety of people. Services were provided to individuals and organizations in our community, as well as at TBC to serve the needs of on-campus ministries. Some things done on Service Saturday 2017 include:

  • Building a porch with wheel chair ramp (picture above)
  • Building a hand rail for another porch project
  • Building a fence
  • Serving meals to first responders in Elmore County (Sheriff's Department, Wetumpka Police Department, and Fire Department)
  • A Luncheon provided for Isaiah 58 ministry volunteers
  • Pressure washing and clean up projects for senior adults in the area.
  • Clean up and fix up projects at the church
  • Tree cutting and clearing

Special thanks to our Missions Committee for planning this and coordinating with Elmore County Outreach. Thanks also to the TBC Building and Grounds Committee.

Thanks mostly to our loving Lord, who provided opportunities and resources to reach out into the community and be the hands and feet of Christ.
